A cropped cardigan solves a problem a full-length one creates: bulk at the hip when you're wearing something high-waisted. Cut to hit right at or above the waistband, these layer over slip dresses, tank tops, and going-out tops without hiding the parts of the outfit you picked those pieces for in the first place.
We carry two knit weights. A lighter ribbed version for air-conditioned restaurants and transitional weather, and a heavier cable knit for actual cold. Button-front and open-front styles are both here, depending on whether you want it to close or just hang.
Neutral colors do the most work in a closet: cream, black, and a warm caramel go over almost everything else on this site. If you already have a slip dress or a going-out top you love, a cropped cardigan is usually the fastest way to get another season out of it.
Throw one over a satin slip dress for a dinner-to-drinks outfit that survives a temperature drop.
